Today printers are widely used for personal and business use. All in one printer provide the multiple functions under one printer such as faxing, photocopying, email etc. Is there any printer that uses less ink than other one? Finding printers that use less ink is not easy. Many cheap printers are more costly to operate than more expensive one. However, there are few monochrome printers’ yields more printing pages for low cost. Some expensive multi function printers are more durable and use less ink in long run if you print a lot in each day.

Cheap Printer Expensive Running Cost

You can get very cheap inkjet printer for home or small business use. However, the total number of prints get by these printers is much lower when compare to the expensive printers. This mode use less ink to print and it prints quiet faster than the normal mode. If you choose high quality print mode then it consumes more ink.

Another thing to consider is selection of font and size of font. Some font consume less ink such as Times New Roman where as some thick font consume more ink. Choose small font size so that the printer uses less ink. Avoid colour printing until otherwise needed. Monochrome prints are sufficient for many draft works and personal use. Avoiding unnecessary prints will make the ink last long.
